Japan's Tokyo Allergy Research Center found that Raycop decreased the number of dust mites by 93.1 percent after 15 minutes of exposure. While many people believe exposure to sunlight kills dust mites, the Center showed six hours of direct sunlight exposure only decreased the dust mite population by 3.8 percent.
Raycop has also been shown to counteract the H1N1 Influenza A virus. Japan’s Food Research Laboratories found that Raycop began to kill Influenza after only less than two seconds of exposure.
