| Q1 |
What is Raycop, and how does the anti-allergy care system work? |
|
| |
Raycop is the first UVC anti-allergy vacuum cleaner that cleans upholstery and bedding while also killing 99.9% of bacteria in a unique process. In the first step, Raycop’s UVC germicidal lamp sterilizes the surface of the fabric. Next, a vibrating pad releases dust mites that are hooked into the fabric with a barb-like part of their legs. Dust mites and their waste are then vacuumed up and trapped in a cartridge, while the Micro Allergy Filter prevents the allergens from being released back into the air. |

| Q2 |
What can be cleaned with Raycop? |
|
| |
The brand-new Raycop deep cleans upholstery and bedding including sofas, chairs, curtains, mattresses, futons, crib pads, pillows and blankets. Bedding and mattresses, in particular, contain millions of dust mites and other bacteria and allergens that can aggravate or lead to symptoms of allergy such as asthma and atopy dermatitis. |

|
| Q3 |
What is UV light and what is a UVC germicidal lamp? |
|
| |
The sun naturally produces ultraviolet (UV) light - electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength shorter than that of visible light. One type of UV light, known as UVC is considered “germicidal UV” because it can kill most of bacteria such as E. Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus and damage or destroy a dust mite’s ability to reproduce. Raycop is the first product to harness UVC for cleaning household fabrics, by fitting a germicidal lamp to the underside of the handheld vacuum. |

|
| Q4 |
How does Raycop make it safe to use UVC for sanitizing fabrics in your home? |
|
| |
As a safeguard against misuse, the Raycop has built-in safety features. After plugging in the Raycop, the user presses and holds the Control button for three seconds until a beep is heard. This unlocks the Raycop, and the user can select a cleaning mode and begin cleaning. When the Raycop is in “sterilization” mode, the UVC lamp will stay on as long as the unit is fully in contact with the fabric surface. Raycop’s built-in sensors will automatically shut off the lamp when the unit is lifted more than 5 cm away from the fabric to prevent users’ skin or eyes from being exposed by UVC lamp. The UV bulb of Raycop is enclosed in protective quartz tube. |

|
| Q5 |
How do I know the UVC-sterilization lamp on my Raycop is working? |
|
| |
You can tell the UVC lamp is on when you see its light shining through the narrow windows in the cover of the Raycop. If the lamp shuts off, simply re-position the Raycop, making sure that the entire unit is on the surface being cleaned, and the lamp will light up again automatically. |

|
| Q6 |
How do I choose which cleaning mode to use? Do I have to use all of Raycop’s cleaning features at the same time? |

| Q7 |
How has Raycop’s anti-allergy care system been tested and proven? |
|
| |
Raycop has been awarded the globally recognized British Allergy Foundation Seal of Approval as the first UVC Anti-Allergy system of its kind, as it has been scientifically proven to significantly reduce allergens such as bacteria and dust mites. Japanese Government authorized Tokyo Allergy Center and Food Research Laboratory has also proven Raycop’s allegy care system. These testing processes had taken one year to prove Raycop’s allergy care ability. |
| |
|
| Q8 |
Is Raycop easy to use? |
|
| |
Just plug the smooth-gliding handheld vacuum system into an electrical outlet and begin. With a length and width of just over one foot (0.35 m) and height of six inches (0.5 m), Raycop is very portable and easily stored. The dust cartridge is easy to remove and clean, and an indicator light will remind you when the micro allergy filter needs replacing. |
| |
|
| Q9 |
How does Raycop help prevent allergies symptoms and diseases in children and adults? |
|
| |
Raycop attacks and removes the source of the problems – dust mites, dust mite feces and its protein, bacteria, fungi and mold that can lead to a variety of allergic symptoms and chronic conditions like asthma. Asthma accounted for 14 million missed schooldays by children in the United States in 2000, and U.S. consumers spend nearly $17 billion on allergy and asthma-related products each year. |

|
| Q10 |
Where do these harmful dust mites live? |
|
| |
Dust mites are in every home and thrive best in warm, moist environments where they quickly multiply by the thousands. An average household bed contains millions of dust mites at any given time. Dust mites feed on a person’s dead skin cells and then deposit their fecal pellets on home furnishings such as beds, pillows and bedding. |
| |
|
| Q11 |
What’s ‘Fabric Adsorption Proof Design’ of Raycop ? |
|
| |
Raycop’s patent protective air flow design on its bottom does not allow fabric like blanket to clog the air inflow canal of Raycop. |
| |
|
| Q12 |
How often should I use my Raycop? |
|
| |
The more often is the better. For best results you should use your Raycop two to three times a week. To ensure that dust mites, bacteria and other allergens do not build up, make sure to use your Raycop once a week at the very minimum. |
