In 2005, the company leveraged its research and manufacturing capabilities to form its Health and Home Appliance Division, filling an unmet need for health conscious home appliances.  The new division proudly launched its Raycop line of UV-C anti-allergy vacuum cleaners, now sold internationally in 13 countries including South Korea, United States, United Kingdom and Japan.

Bukang Sems currently employs two highly efficient manufacturing plants located in Incheon, near the South Korean capital and the other in Dongguan, China, outside of Guangzhou.  In 2008, the company recorded KRW 59.9 billion in revenue and operated with approximately 500 employees in Korea and China.

He graduated with a degree in medicine and completed his internship at Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital, but before choosing his specialty realized that his true calling was in business. Dr. Lee enrolled at the Yonsei Business School and, after graduating, moved to the United States where he pursued a MBA from Duke University.

After successfully completing his MBA in 2002, Dr. Lee joined the global pharmaceutical giant, Johnson & Johnson, where he worked as a product manager for the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York regions.

He was instrumental in creating the Raycop product line of UV-C anti-allergy cleaners, accurately predicting market demand and offering deep medical insight.

Dr. Lee’s vision seeks to grow Bukang Sems’ Health & Home Appliances Division into a global company serving the health and well being of its consumers. Dr. Lee has led the company to success and looks to continue with the same care and compassion a doctor treats his patients.
