Do Dust Mites Bite?
No. Dust Mites rarely bite humans and animals.
And why would they? Dust is everywhere and it is the house dust mite’s favorite food.
However, if you have allergies to dust mites you may develop contact dermatitis. It can be as minor as itchy dry skin or eczema and swollen rashes. This will show up in areas that touch sheets, furniture or carpet.
